LUKE Haynes is a trained Architect using his skills mostly for good. His work can be seen at his site and the associated blog. He is a full time Quilter and sometimes blogger, whose work is showing across the country and soon the world.
How long have you been involved in the world of stitch?
Most of my life. I learned to crochet at a very young age to keep myself busy on long car rides.
What is your favourite thing about stitchery?
I love the idea of making functional things from disparate objects.
What do you make of the modern craft scene?
Everything is modern at some point. Its just our way to signify that we are working on innovating actively.
Do you have any unusual talents we might not know about?
I used to travel the world for swing dancing and I am building my apartment right now.
