Badecca is an artist living in Brooklyn.
Her ability to stitch is evident from the moment you see her works, but one of the things that sets her apart is her choice of subject matter.
Her embroidered works definitely have a retro feel about them, some more explicit than others. But you cannot fault their style.
Badecca’s work has great characterisation and and a terrific sense of humour. To find out more about her work, visit her terrific Flickr photostream, where you can drool on her pillows (in a virtual sense).
