Gretel Parker has been stabbing wool into cute shapes for quite a while and her new book, Little Needle-Felt Animals is a perfect showcase of her talents.
Gretel has put together a great range of cute characters for you to make, which are technically Too Cute for me, but I’m sucking it up for the purpose of this review. Mice, elephants, foxes, kittens, penguins and more, Gretel explains how to put these guys together.
I really like the style of Gretel’s character and their construction is solid. They’re charming and not difficult to achieve. As you’d expect, the book gives you explanation of the tools you’ll need and a good dose of technique.
Each character is accompanied with the right amount of instruction so that you’ll feeling confident in your creative stabbing! (Maybe I need to phrase that better?) It’s a great book that will inspire you to try needle felting and make something charming that you’ll be proud off. Definitely worth a go!
