It’s always great to see another stitchy animation – if you’ve got a couple of minutes, take a break and enjoy this clever piece of work:
“A Flowering Theory is a visual journey through one of the most influential texts in scientific literature, Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species. Created in collaboration between acclaimed designer Stefanie Posavec and animator Abbie Stephens, the film explores the words of Darwin’s book. Translated by the artists into botanical form and animated with paper, the film culminates in a stunning visualisation of the text.
