Jo Chambers, aka Studio Legohead, is an artist from Bath, England.
She specialises in animal portraits, particularly those of the canine variety.
In May last year, Jo exhibited her work in a show entitled Best in Show. Visitors were invited to vote for their favourite dog and the winning dogs were presented with “fantastical trophies” and “nonsensical sashes“.
Since the show Jo has continued to produce more dog portraits, and you can buy them and their postcard versions from her etsy store.
It’s a great series of portraits, that capture the essences of these animals and you can sense the love that is embedded in the work.
Jo’s sense of humour pervades all her art, and I’m looking forward to seeing what she comes out with in the future.
