ARTeries introduction

“Y know, every now and then
I think you might like to hear something from us
Nice and easy;
But there’s just one thing:
You see we never ever do nothing
Nice and easy.
We always do it nice and rough.
So we’re gonna take the beginning of this song
And do it easy,
Then we’re gonna do the finish rough. ”  T.Turner

On the fourth Friday of each month, ARTeries is going to take you from the easy to the rough, the serious and sublime to the provocative and personal. We’ll explore  “embroidery”  in its many manifestations, including dimensional works, hand and machine work, mixed media, unusual materials and unique approaches, concept pieces, story telling and experimentation.
