Jamie “Mr X Stitch” Chalmers is one of the world’s most well-known male embroiderers, an internationally exhibited textile artist and curator.
Based in the Midlands, he is available for workshops and presentations across the UK and isn’t averse to travelling further (subject to T&Cs, of course)!

In his “Life on the Cutting (& Stitching) Edge” presentation Jamie shares the freshest contemporary embroidery and needlework from around the world. With over 100 pictures of terrific textile art in the space of an hour, combined with his unique style of presentation, this is an inspirational, enjoyable tour of the world of needlework, guaranteed to change the way you think about embroidery.
